Overview Our Dublin-based Financial Services client is seeking an experienced Senior QA Manager to lead and evolve their Quality Assurance function. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving quality across complex, business-critical platforms within a highly regulated environment. This opportunity offers hybrid working and is open to both permanent and contract professionals.
The Role
Key Responsibilities Quality Strategy & Governance Develop and implement a robust QA framework suited to a regulated financial services environment Establish KPIs, metrics and reporting structures for executive visibility Ensure alignment with risk management and regulatory requirements Delivery Oversight Provide QA leadership across large-scale transformation and BAU initiatives Ensure high-quality releases through structured test cycles and governance gates Mitigate delivery risks through proactive quality planning Team Leadership Build and develop QA capability across functional, automation, and performance testing Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Support career progression and capability development within the QA function
Required Experience 8+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role Strong background in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, or Payments) Experience operating in regulated environments with exposure to audit/compliance frameworks Proven experience leading QA across complex, multi-stream programmes Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines Experience with modern QA tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Cypress, performance testing tools, etc.) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
