Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Analyst with strong manual testing expertise, advanced SQL skills, and hands-on experience testing MuleSoft integrations. This role will be responsible for validating complex enterprise applications, APIs, and data integrations to ensure high-quality releases across distributed systems. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced Agile environments and has deep experience testing end-to-end workflows, backend data validation, and middleware integrations. Key Responsibilities
Manual & Functional Testing Lead comprehensive manual testing efforts for web, API, and enterprise applications. Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements. Perform regression, integration, system, UAT, smoke, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and ensure full test coverage. SQL & Data Validation Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data, transformations, and system integrations. Perform data reconciliation and integrity testing across multiple databases. Validate ETL processes, stored procedures, triggers, and data mappings. Analyze large datasets to ensure accurate reporting and system outputs. MuleSoft / API & Integration Testing Test MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and middleware workflows across enterprise systems. Validate request/response payloads (JSON/XML), transformations, and data mappings. Perform end-to-end testing of MuleSoft integrations between Salesforce, ERP, CRM, and other third-party systems. Use API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.) to validate REST/SOAP services. Verify error handling, exception management, and performance of integration layers. Collaboration & Quality Leadership Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Grooming, Retrospectives). Provide QA estimates and risk assessments for upcoming releases. Mentor junior QA analysts and promote best practices in test documentation and execution. Support UAT coordination and production validation activities. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with strong emphasis on manual testing. 3+ years of experience writing advanced SQL queries for data validation and backend testing. Hands-on experience testing MuleSoft integrations and APIs. Strong understanding of REST/SOAP services, JSON, XML, and API validation techniques. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience testing integrations with Salesforce, ERP, or other enterprise platforms. Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
