Full Description

Job Title: Automation Tester

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Design develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium with Java following best practices
Implement and maintain BDD Hybrid frameworks using Cucumber or equivalent tools for scalable automation
Develop automated test scripts for UI API and fullstack services ensuring high test coverage and reliability
Perform API automation testing using tools such as Rest Assured and SOAP UI
Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies collaborating closely with developers product owners and stakeholders
Analyse requirements contribute to test strategy and ensure testability from early stages of development
Prepare and maintain test plans test cases test data and test execution reports
Execute manual and automated test cycles and ensure effective defect tracking and management
Integrate automation suites into CICD pipelines using Jenkins and Gradle
Leverage tools such as GitHub Splunk and STS for version control debugging monitoring and analysis
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Represent the QA team in technical discussions and cross functional forums
