Role Overview
We are seeking a Process Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in analyzing manual workflows and driving automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, process-mapping expertise, and a good understanding of automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and document manual business processes to identify automation opportunities. Create process maps, flowcharts, and documentation of current and future state workflows. Perform root cause analysis to eliminate inefficiencies and non-value-added steps. Define clear and structured requirements for automation solutions. Work with technical teams to implement and validate automation initiatives. Use data insights to measure automation impact and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in analyzing manual workflows and driving automation initiatives.
Basic Database and API Knowledge: A foundational understanding of how data is stored (SQL) and how systems communicate (APIs) is extremely helpful for defining data-related requirements accurately. Strong process mapping and analysis skills using techniques like BPMN, Value Stream Mapping, and flowcharting. Experience in root cause analysis using methods such as 5 Whys or Fishbone Diagrams. Strong requirements engineering skills including user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation. Ability to make data-driven decisions using process metrics like cycle time, volume, and error rates.
