Role & seniority: Quality / Manufacturing Engineer, mid-level (3–5+ years in related roles)
Stack/tools: Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), data-driven supplier performance analytics, quality systems; experience with interior automotive processes (seats, consoles, panels, etc.)
Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure launch readiness, quality, capacity, warranty, and on-time delivery; drive continuous improvement with suppliers.
Serve as on-site technical lead during critical supplier events (troubleshooting, containment, corrective action) and lead cross-functional issue resolution.
Lead/support APQP/PPAP deliverables aligned to program timelines and monitor supplier performance to inform strategic decisions.
3–5+ years in advanced manufacturing/quality, process planning, or launch of interior commodity manufacturing systems (e.g., seats, consoles, panels)
Experience with PPAP, APQP, and automotive quality systems
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis
Ability to travel up to 70% to supplier sites
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
Specific experience in interior automotive commodities or related processes (stamping, welding, molding, paint, automation)
