Position Overview: We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with 2-7 years of experience in software testing, preferably in IT Service Management (ITSM) and networking-related products. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing concepts, defect tracking, test case execution, and basic automation fundamentals. Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting is a plus.
Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality.
Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on product requirements.
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing for ITSM-related products.
Identify, document, and track bugs and defects in the issue tracking system.
Work closely with development and product teams to understand technical requirements and business use cases.
Collaborate in root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and provide feedback for process improvements.
Validate networking-related features, ensuring smooth communication between different components of the software.
Verify compliance with ITIL and ITSM best practices in the product.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and assist in test automation integration within the DevOps process.
Stay updated with industry trends and new automation tools to improve testing efficiency.
Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Python, or similar frameworks (added advantage)
Bachelor's or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2-7ears of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on ITSM or networking-related products.
Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and SNMP.
Experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, TFS, or similar).
Understanding of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL and their application in software solutions.
Basic knowledge of APIs, database queries (SQL), and performance testing.
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment with strong collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
