Conduct root-cause analysis for defects and work with developers to resolve issues; manage test data and support defect resolution
Must-have skills
5+ years in ETL testing with SQL proficiency across Teradata/Oracle/SQL Server
Expertise in Ab Initio ETL tools
Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL concepts, Unix/shell scripting, and Python
Proficient in test data preparation, defect identification, and testing fundamentals
Experience with Agile (Scrum)
Nice-to-haves
Deeper scripting proficiency beyond basics (advanced Python scripting)
Additional ETL or data automation tools
Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD practices (optional)

5+ years of Advanced level of expertise in databases, SQL queries with Teradata or Oracle or SQL Server. 5+ years of expertise in ETL Testing Good knowledge of ETL Tools - Ab Initio Very good knowledge of Datawarehouse, ETL concepts, Unix commands, shell/bash script or any other script language like Python Good understanding of Testing fundamentals Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards Demonstrated expertise in SQL, test data Preparation, Defect identification Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution. Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodology and software development approach
