Salary: C$74,000 - C$90,000 / year
Role & seniority: Test Technologist (entry–mid level) based in Vancouver, BC; reports to Test Engineering Leader.
Stack/tools: measurement gauges and hand tools; data analysis fundamentals; Dewesoft and measurement software; hydraulic fluid power systems; wiring and troubleshooting control cabinets and PLCs; database creation/maintenance; sensor integration.
Prepare test samples, conduct tests, and document results.
Perform root cause analysis and contribute to improvement of testing methods, processes, and equipment.

Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Technology (or equivalent) and ≥1 year related experience.
Experience with measurement gauges/hand tools; accelerated testing; root cause analysis and failure mode identification.
Experience designing/building hydraulic fluid power systems; wiring/troubleshooting control cabinets and PLCs.
Ability to set up/use measurement systems/software (preferably Dewesoft); basic data analysis/statistics; reading technical standards.
Familiarity with manufacturing/coating methods and materials (metals/plastics).
Experience with data-driven testing improvements; more advanced statistical analysis; broader instrumentation or sensor integration experience.

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Test Technologist. This position reports to Test Engineering Leader will work in Vancouver, BC.
Dometic Marine’s headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic, electronic, and combustion-based products.
As Test Technologist on the Vancouver team, you will be involved ensuring tests are run efficiently with representative samples at appropriate throughput. The role requires proper documentation and ongoing recommendations and actions to improve testing methods, processes, equipment, and analysis.
General Responsibilities

Skills & Requirements
