We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Test Technologist. This position reports to Test Engineering Leader will work in Vancouver, BC.
Dometic Marine’s headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. The facility develops and manufactures hydraulic, electronic, and combustion-based products.
As Test Technologist on the Vancouver team, you will be involved ensuring tests are run efficiently with representative samples at appropriate throughput. The role requires proper documentation and ongoing recommendations and actions to improve testing methods, processes, equipment, and analysis.
General Responsibilities

Skills & Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Technology (or equivalent) Minimum 1 year of industry or relevant experience Experience with common measurement gauges and hand tools Experience in accelerated testing of products Experience in root cause analysis and failure mode identification Experience designing and building hydraulic fluid power systems Experience setting up and using measurement systems and software, preferably Dewesoft Experience analyzing datasets and performing basic statistical analyses. Experience wiring and troubleshoots control cabinets and PLC’s Experience reading and interpreting technical standards Familiarity with different manufacturing and coating methods Experience working with different types of materials (metals and engineering plastics)
