Position Overview We are seeking a Mainframe QA Analyst with experience in financial systems validation to support CAP releases for the Customer Account Servicing System (CASS). This role focuses on validating regulatory, enhancement, and correction updates through structured script-based testing, FFPP batch comparisons, and audit-ready documentation in a highly controlled mainframe environment.
Key Responsibilities CAP Release Validation Analyze CAP bundles and classify RSECS (Enhancements, Regulatory, Corrections) Determine appropriate test method (SCRIPT, FFPP, FFPP-possible) Define regression scope for impacted processes Test Execution & Documentation Author and execute manual scripts in Quality Center (QC/ALM) Validate batch and online components including calculations, interfaces, and end-of-term scenarios Perform Full File Production Parallel (FFPP) testing and reconcile output variances Compliance & Governance Maintain audit-ready traceability (RSECS ā scripts ā defects ā approvals) Support regulatory validation and change control processes Coordinate business reviews for regulatory items Production & Defect Support Identify, log, and communicate defects Conduct root-cause analysis Partner with developers and operations to stabilize batch schedules
