Role & seniority: Maintenance Engineer Intern (internship); entry to early-career level, no supervisory responsibilities
Stack/tools: hands-on equipment operation; review/author SOPs and controlled documents; willingness to learn new software and programming languages; collaborate with Automation, Engineering, GTS, Operations, and Quality
Troubleshoot, operate, and support installed systems; assist in equipment and facility validation

General Description: The Maintenance Engineer Intern will be involved in troubleshooting, operating, and providing support for installed systems. This role will be based in Hopewell NJ and report to a Senior Engineer Facilities and Utilities.
Essential Functions Of The Job
Review technical documentation. Assist in Validation of equipment and facility. Hands-on experience with equipment, mechanical aptitude. Directly support operations with troubleshooting and issue resolution. Work on small cross functional teams in support of small projects or initiatives. Requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment including gowning Support operations and ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate and site requirements Collaborate and work closely with Automation, Engineering, GTS, Operations Teams and Quality. The ability to operate self-sufficiently and to motivate oneself is crucial for the success of this position. In addition, the ability for this person to develop and maintain transparent communication between departments is essential
