Internship program dates: June 8 - August 21, 2026 Education Required: In process of Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field. General Description: The Control System Automation Intern will support initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency across the organization by leveraging automation technologies. This intern will partner with stakeholders to identify and improve automation device functions across the site by utilizing Automation Tools and verify the installation to build a detailed system architecture that will be used as the main reference for the department for troubleshooting and system development. This role is ideal for a highly curious and analytical individual who enjoys problem-solving and building scalable solutions in a collaborative environment. Essential Functions of the Job: Support the development and deployment of automation solutions and tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the operation and installation of equipment and devices Document technical specifications, point to point connections, and build a detailed system architecture Assist with testing, debugging, and optimization of automated systems Provide support for internal tools built to drive operational efficiency (Preferred) Familiarity with tools such as Studio 5000 and TIA Portal. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
