Design, author, and maintain clear, reusable test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile apps
Execute functional, regression, sanity, and exploratory tests; log, prioritize, and track defects through lifecycle; verify fixes
Validate integrations and perform basic API verification; collaborate with developers, product owners, and release engineers; deliver test status reports and defect metrics
Hands-on manual testing experience for web and/or mobile apps

Role & Responsibilities
Design, author and maintain clear, reusable test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications. Execute functional, regression, sanity and exploratory tests against requirements and user stories. Log, prioritise and track defects through the defect lifecycle using JIRA; verify fixes and perform retesting. Validate integration points and perform basic API verification using tools such as Postman. Collaborate with developers, product owners and release engineers to reproduce issues and provide detailed bug reports. Prepare and deliver concise test status reports and defect metrics to stakeholders; maintain test documentation and release checklists.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have: Proven hands-on experience in manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
Must-Have: Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and test case design techniques.
Must-Have: Practical experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and test management tools such as TestRail.
Must-Have: Ability to execute regression and integration testing; familiarity with API testing (Postman).
Must-Have: Strong attention to detail with ability to create reproducible bug reports and workflows.
Preferred: ISTQB Foundation or similar certification; exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery processes and basic automation concepts (Selenium).
