Role & seniority: Senior Automation Engineer / lead automation professional
Stack/tools: PLC programming (Omron and/or Siemens preferred), HMI, Motion, Safety systems; control-system design, testing, commissioning; technical documentation; workshop testing; cross-functional collaboration
Own functional performance of machines from concept to commissioning; collaborate with internal/external partners
Develop PLC/HMI/Motion/Safety programs from scratch through testing, commissioning, and optimization; ensure compliance with specs and safety standards
Support start-up/commissioning at production and customer sites; provide on-site and remote after-sales technical support
5+ years PLC programming experience
Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
Proven end-to-end PLC development (architecture, programming, testing, commissioning)
Strong knowledge of PLC programming; Omron and/or Siemens experience a major advantage
Knowledge of machine directives and functional safety
Hands-on, autonomous, strong problem-solving mindset; able to work under pressure
English proficiency (spoken and written)
Willingness to commute and travel occasionally for international customer interventions
Prior senior/lead role in industrial automation or machine-building projects
Experience documenting functional descriptions and creating user/start-up manual
Your role
As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing our machines to life from concept to commissioning. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and customers to deliver robust, high-quality automation solutions — not just maintaining existing code, but designing, building, and validating control systems end-to-end.
