Role & seniority: Senior role combining verification/automation focus for 5G NR and development activities; 5–10 years’ hands-on experience preferred.
Stack/tools: 5G NR/LTE baseband and radio equipment; traffic generation tools (Viavi, real UEs); Linux, IP routing/switching; CI/CD (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins); Python, Java; Kubernetes/CNFs; Open RAN exposure (nice to have); cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) and virtualization.
Own end-to-end system verification for 5G features from readiness to release, including resilience and availability targets.
Design test strategies for live-network scenarios; automate tests; analyze logs/traces/KPIs; issue isolation and defect reporting.
Support customer trials/field reproduction; move from symptoms to root cause; explore AI-assisted verification to accelerate insight.
5–10 years NR/LTE baseband/radio troubleshooting; advanced Linux, networking, and IP/SW debugging.
Experience with traffic generation and test tools; strong problem solving; CI/CD and automation workflow experience.
Programming: Java and Python; ability to work with cloud/CNFs and on-premise setups.
Open RAN, virtualization/containerization, AI/ML tooling for test analytics; resilience testing, KPI analysis, availability focus.
Location & work type: India (primary country); flexible work environment; full-time.
Actively participate in all development activities, such as requirement analysis, system, architecture, hardware and software design.
Collaborate in the integration, verification, and simulation processes for optimal product development.
Contribute to the designing of tools and support for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Play a role in creating comprehensive product documentation.
Adhere to Ericsson's Product Development Principles throughout the development process.
