Job Title: Electronic Hardware Technician
Job Description
This position supports the assembly, testing, and repair of advanced electronic hardware used in high-performance systems. The technician will work hands-on with electronic assemblies throughout multiple stages of production and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing partners to meet quality and delivery goals.
Responsibilities
Assemble, test, rework, and repair electronic hardware and related components. Perform functional testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of printed circuit board assemblies and integrated electronic subsystems. Support final system builds and verification activities. Partner with manufacturing, test, and development engineering teams to resolve production and design-related issues. Accurately follow work instructions, test procedures, and rework documentation. Complete additional tasks as needed to support operational requirements.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience assembling and testing sensitive electronic assemblies. Ability to follow detailed technical documentation and standardized processes. Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and power supplies. Knowledge of electrostatic discharge (ESD) handling procedures and materials. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment on a regular basis, with occasional lifting up to approximately 50 lbs. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and identify components. Experience with soldering and electronic rework (IPC certification a plus). Familiarity with basic PCBA troubleshooting, rework, and repair techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing or test environment. Associate degree in a technical discipline or formal electronics training (military, trade school, or equivalent) preferred. Proficiency in soldering. Experience with RF electronics test equipment. Ability to read and understand circuit schematics. Ability to identify components from schematic representations.
Work Environment
Work is conducted Monday through Friday during the first shift, from 5am to 1: 30pm. This is a non-exempt role with opportunity for overtime pay.
