Description
SAIC is seeking a Fully Remote, DevSecOps Cloud Automation Engineer to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) program to implement the systems and infrastructure required to deliver voice, video, network, computer, and data services for the USACE Enterprise.
NOTE: This is a Fully Remote / Work from Home position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Technical expert for the Ansible ecosystem & Gitlab DevOps practices within the organization, providing solutions and technical implementation aligned with the automation program objectives.
Develop Ansible artifacts, troubleshoot issues and work on implementing configuration management roadmap of the organization as well as troubleshoot issues and work on implementing DevSecOps best practices within Gitlab enterprise. Support software patch/update/upgrade evaluation and deployment for these two products as well as support of their configuration within the datacenters.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Experience in DevOps, security engineering, or a related field experience with: Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control systems (Git).
Experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Experience with Ansible playbook development and deployment.
Experience preparing technical documentation.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION
Must have a current DoD IAT Level II or higher certification such as Security+ CE, CySA+, CISSP, OR CASP.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
Must have a current Secret Clearance.
Must have current ship.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
