Workday Test Lead Specialist – Remote

Location: Remote (U.S. based)

Assignment Type: Contract

Compensation: $55-65/hr (

About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Workday Test Lead to drive testing initiatives for a large-scale Workday Financials implementation. This is a high-impact role requiring deep expertise in Workday testing, integrations, and security, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the mortgage or financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage Workday testing projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for Workday implementations and updates Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate integration and module functionality Identify, document, and track defects through resolution Mentor junior testers and provide leadership across testing efforts Deliver and maintain automated test suites using Kainos Smart Test and Smartshield Partner with Kainos teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience leading testing initiatives in large-scale organizations Proven leadership in Workday testing, especially with Workday Financials Strong understanding of Workday Integrations and Security Experience with automated testing tools, especially Kainos Smart Test Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Workday Financials certification Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry Familiarity with Agile methodologies
