Summary

• Seeking a detail-oriented BI QA Tester to ensure the accuracy,
• completeness, and integrity of enterprise reporting solutions. This role is
• critical to validating dashboards and reports developed in Power BI and
• other cloud-based tools, ensuring they meet business requirements and
• deliver trusted insights. The ideal candidate will have strong technical
• testing skills, experience in agile environments, and the ability to develop
• automated test scripts tailored to data and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and scrum teams to understand acceptance criteria and translate them into comprehensive test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Identify, document, and track defects and data issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using SQL and Python to improve testing efficiency and scalability.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BI QA testing, with a focus on validating data-driven reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python for test automation and data validation.
• Experience testing Power BI, Tableau, or other cloud-based reporting platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
