Location & work type: Farmingdale, NY; on-campus Brentwood facility with occasional off-site assignments; occasional evenings required; part-time, temporary UUP position; pay $23/hour.
The Long Island Educational Opportunity Center (LIEOC) at Farmingdale State College is seeking qualified test proctors/tutors to support test takers at our Brentwood facility. Selected candidates will primarily be assigned to test administrations with the opportunity to assume tutoring responsibilities in content areas targeted by TABE, GED, Pharmacy Tech, Certified Nurse Aide, and Electronic Health Records examinations. Proctors may be assigned to occasional off-site test administrations. Occasional evening hours are required.
Responsibilities Include
Completing mandated trainings for test administrations Preparing test tickets Registering students for required examinations Active proctoring during test administrations Providing student support in test preparation Entering results in Banner (student management system) as needed Tracking and disseminating test scores

SALARY: $23/hour
