This position offers a unique opportunity to lead planning and execution of vehicle certification within the Off-road team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the engineering, validation and compliance members, along with directing and execution of testing. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in future safety procedure development along with enhancements of the certification process and communication tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plan and execute the compliance certification for off road vehicle programs. Collaborate with engineering project teams, systems engineers, project validation engineers and product compliance to develop and execute the certification plan for new and planned change programs and components. Plan and execute certification testing. Manage compliance test requests and reporting. Manage certification test vehicles and tracking. Responsible for accurate documentation on test reports and within the compliance matrix. Direct compliance development and test technicians. Manage certification test equipment and facilities including procurement, calibration, maintenance and other tasks as needed. Drive efficiency and communication with continued enhancements in the areas of documentation creation, certification processes and procedures, certification matrix, task tracking and other reporting tools. Help develop new safety test procedures in collaboration with internal and external partners. Training and onboarding for development and test technicians.
