Role & seniority: Test and Cutover Manager (interim/contract role)

Define and execute the overall test strategy and governance (SIT, UAT, regression, performance, post-go-live)
Lead test design, execution, defect triage, traceability to business requirements, and cutover/go-live planning
Oversee environments, data setup, data migration readiness, rollback/contingency procedures; act as primary testing/cutover interface to PM and Steering Committee
Proven experience leading testing and cutover workstreams in ERP implementations
Strong D365 F&O or Dynamics AX background
Experience with multi-phase, cross-functional test cycles and cutover activities
Data migration, interface testing, and environment management
Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira (or similar tools)
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and English skills
EU work/residency eligibility
Experience in international rollouts
Microsoft certifications
Prior consulting/system integrator roles

Your mission as a Test and Cutover Manager
As Test and Cutover Manager, you will lead the testing and cutover strategy for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems and safeguarding business continuity. Your work will directly impact operational readiness and the success of our ERP transformation.
What else you will be doing as a Test and Cutover Manager?
In this interim role, you will be the driving force behind all testing and cutover activities within the MastERPiece project. You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and workstream leads to design, coordinate, and execute test phases and go-live plans. Your expertise will ensure that all systems, data, and processes are validated and ready for deployment. You will also play a key role in project governance, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities Include
Define and execute the overall test strategy and governance for SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, and Post-Go-Live validation Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria Manage test execution, defect triage, and resolution tracking Ensure traceability between business requirements and test outcomes Oversee test environment and data setup Lead the design and execution of the cutover strategy and go-live plan Coordinate cutover tasks across functional, technical, and data teams Validate data migration and readiness activities Prepare rollback and contingency procedures Act as primary interface for testing and cutover topics with the Project Manager and Steering Committee Support project governance and collaboration across workstreams
