Salary: 300 per bi-weekly pa
Role & seniority: Hardware Test Engineering Intern, Winter/Spring 2026 (Jan–Apr); full-time, onsite.
Stack/tools: System/subsystem/component validation; automated testing equipment; data-driven analysis; familiarity with Linux; scripting (Python preferred); sensors/actuators; HALT/HASS (bonus).
Develop, execute, and manage system-level and component validation test plans to meet design and reliability requirements.
Perform hands-on root-cause analysis of field failures using physics-of-failure methodologies.
Design/build/implement automated test equipment for subsystem characterization and reliability/environmental testing; collaborate on risk assessments and design reviews.
Experience with complex electromechanical systems; ability to develop and execute full system test plans within fast-paced timelines.
Experience testing sensors, actuators, and mechanical components; capable of prototyping and running tests (hardware/software).
Linux systems and scripting (Python preferred); familiarity with HALT/HASS testing.
Portfolio of previous engineering work/projects (required to apply).
Location & work type: Onsite in Somerville, MA; full-time internship (40 hours/week). Other notes: portfolio required; internship runs January–April 2026.
