Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive testing framework for the SAP Transportation Management system. Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Design, coordinate, and oversee all testing activities including unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with SAFE Agile principles. Establish and track quality metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development, testing, and business requirements. Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality and testing processes. Stay current with industry best practices in software testing, particularly within DoD and ERP contexts.
Qualifications
US citizen with active Secret clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Proven experience with SAP systems, preferably SAP Transportation Management Strong understanding of SAFE Agile methodology and its application in large-scale projects Experience with test automation tools and frameworks Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Desired
Master's degree in a relevant field of study Advanced IT certifications, such as ISTQB, SAP, or Agile/SAFE Experience working on DoD contracts or within the defense industry Familiarity with transportation and logistics systems
