Test Engineering Coop

Based in Huntsville, AL, SCI Technology’s Test Engineering Development Group, with the stability and resources of a Fortune-500 company, is seeking a highly motivated Co-Op candidate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to join our team and shape future products. Working with technology partners, we rapidly develop test solutions for a wide range of defense, aerospace, and commercial products.
The successful candidates could be involved in a wide range of the test development; including designing mechanical test sets and fixtures, designing electrical PWA’s for test set and fixture integration, and developing test software for leading edge airborne and/or subsea systems not yet seen by the public. Depending on the individual’s background and interests, work will involve computer-based design and modeling, rapid fabrication of new designs with both our in-house fabrication capabilities and/or contractor test fixture fabrication facilities.

Education/Experience
US Citizenship is required (Due to DoD, ITAR and other regulations) Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or CS Major (sophomore-senior only) Interested in functional testing hardware and software troubleshooting, and manufacturing support. Training or experience with analog and digital circuits; computer repair and troubleshooting.
