Plan, track, and report progress of User Acceptance Testing activities; manage UAT schedule

Lead daily defect triage, defect management, and reporting; facilitate meetings with technical and business teams

Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios; drive interface/integration testing and QA metrics/reports
Must-have skills

8+ years in software testing and QA, with strong SDLC understanding

Proficiency in software testing techniques, methodologies, and defect management

Hands-on experience with Jira and X Ray

Experience testing web applications in AWS

HP/Mercury Quality Center experience

Mainframe knowledge (programming/scripting) or experience in test automation is a plus

Ability to identify gaps in test coverage and interact with cross-functional teams

Title: UAT Test Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Required Skills: UAT, HP/Mercury Quality Center, Jira, X Ray, AWS, Mainframe, scripting or experience in test automation a plus
UAT QA manager- Role will be responsible for Planning, Tracking and reporting the progress of User acceptance testing activities
MUST be local to Metro Atlanta*

The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the SDLC and Software Quality Assurance concepts and best practices. (8) years? experience in software testing. Also, the candidate must have proven working knowledge of testing methodologies and be able to manage defects and develop QA metrics. HP/Mercury Quality Center experience is required for this position. Mainframe programming, scripting or experience in test automation a plus.
Must have the ability to work closely with other teams, facilitate meetings and be able to interact with both technical and business team members.
The candidate must have working knowledge of supporting protocols that support software development efforts for mainframe and distributed environments.
Proficient in Software Testing techniques, methodologies and defect management.
Should know to run daily defect triage meetings and reporting
Hands-on experience in Jira and X Ray
Experience testing web applications in AWS.
In-depth knowledge developing test strategies and test plans for large complex systems.
Expert with creating test plans, developing test scenarios, and creating QA metrics and reports.
Demonstrated skills in facilitating and organizing test execution of test cases/scripts in a proficient manner.
