Job Description
Software Developer in Test
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll define and lead testing practices within your team, build automation frameworks from the ground up, and play a key role in ensuring product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing
Join a newly formed agile team (4 engineers + 1 product manager) working on high-impact transformation projects. Help rebuild one of the company’s core products — without downtime or customer disruption. Lead testing strategy and execution, driving quality across the software development lifecycle. Build and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using modern tools and practices. Collaborate closely with developers on code reviews, pairing, and CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to release processes and ongoing improvements to the team's workflow and tooling.
What We’re Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in a testing or development capacity. Proven track record writing automated tests for complex applications. Experience working with and refactoring legacy systems, as well as greenfield development. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. Passion for building high-quality, maintainable software. Clear ideas about testing best practices, but open to change when faced with new data. A collaborative, team-first approach to engineering challenges.
