About the Role and Client A leading international law and professional services firm is seeking an experienced Business Test Manager to lead User Acceptance Testing across multiple business-critical transformation initiatives. This strategic role sits at the heart of the firm's transformation programme, ensuring solutions meet exacting business requirements and regulatory standards before deployment. You'll drive UAT strategy and governance while managing testing resources and acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical delivery partners. Key Responsibilities Own and drive the UAT strategy, planning, and governance framework for assigned transformation projects. Develop and maintain comprehensive UAT plans, schedules, and clearly defined entry/exit criteria. Coordinate end-to-end test case design, execution, and defect management processes across multiple initiatives. Provide hands-on involvement in UAT execution where critical business needs require direct engagement. Manage UAT resources effectively, including task allocation and performance management of a Business Test Analyst. Facilitate defect triage meetings, driving timely resolution of issues and maintaining clear prioritisation aligned to business impact. Deliver regular status reporting and dashboards to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making. Ensure strict compliance with organisational testing standards and regulatory requirements across all testing activities.
Essential Requirements Proven track record as a UAT/Test Manager delivering large-scale transformation or system implementation projects. Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels including C-suite. Demonstrated experience working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Experience managing project resources remotely across multiple geographies. Strong change management capabilities with the ability to elicit cooperation from diverse stakeholders including senior management and third-party partners.
Desirable Experience ISTQB or equivalent testing certification. Experience in financial services, legal, or other regulated industries.
