Monitor and process time-sensitive insurance verifications by priority
Verify insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and required medical documentation for applicable payers
Review documentation for validity to bill third-party payers; ensure accuracy of data entry
Strong knowledge of medical insurance terminology and billing
Experience communicating with referrals, facilities, and patients (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and in a team; accurate data entry; attention to detail
Willingness to participate in training, meetings, and competency assessments
Experience with Home Medical Equipment (HME)

Verify insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and required medical documentation for all applicable payers, able to problem solve any odd ball/uncommon insurances. Ability to navigate insurance portals, IVR systems, etc.
Medical Documentation: prescriptions, progress/chart notes from different sources, oxygen saturation/sleep study results, etc. Delivery Documentation received from multiple branches within NRS. High level of accuracy in data entry and filing Qualifications
