  • Develop and automate testing equipment for MEMS sensors, IoT devices, and metering equipment

  • Apply stimuli (acceleration, pressure, temperature, vibrations, acoustics) and evaluate/test equipment performance

  • The internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the development and automation of testing equipment for a range of products, including MEMS sensors, IoT devices and metering equipment.

  • You will get familiar with the testing of MEMS sensors by application and control of different stimuli such as acceleration, pressure, temperature, vibrations and acoustic . Learning about digital communication interfaces and various measurement equipment is also in scope.

  • You will also be involved in evaluation and improvement of the existing testing and measurement stations.

  • Furthermore, you will have the chance to improve skills in hardware/software design (Altium/C#) as well mechanical design (SolidWorks). Perform data analysis (LUA/ MATLAB/Python) and help with the characterization of the various products and test equipment.

  • Finally, you will play a key role in evaluating the performance of developed test equipment and presenting your findings to the development team. Overall, this internship offers a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary experience in the field of testing and measurement.

Education: studies in the field of Electrical Engineering (Embedded Systems, Communication Technology, Automation Technology), Mechanical Engineering, Physics or comparable

Experience and Knowledge: first experience in electrical and mechanical design; knowledge of object-oriented programming; work experience in lab environment, data analysis as well as measurement techniques desirable; knowledge in the field of acoustics is helpful

Personality and Working Practice: you excel at taking initiative, organizing tasks effectively, structuring your work towards goals, and communicating clearly with team members

Enthusiasm: interest in MEMS technology, IoT-based products, measurement technology development and automation, as well as desire to contribute to a demanding team

Languages: fluent in English

Start: according to prior agreement

Duration: 4 - 6 months
