Full Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to lead our
QA department based in Dubai. This leadership role is crucial for ensuring that our digital
solutions meet the highest quality standards in performance, usability, and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software QA, a sharp eye for detail,
proven leadership skills, and the ability to implement and scale both manual and automated
testing processes across complex digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Define and execute the overall QA vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with
company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional QA team to meet performance and quality
goals.
Advocate for quality and promote a quality-first culture across all engineering and
product teams.
Testing & Automation
Oversee the design and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and
automation suites.
Select, implement, and manage QA tools, frameworks, and environments suitable for
both manual and automated testing.
Drive continuous test automation for UI, API, and regression testing across platforms.
Process & Compliance
Establish and continuously improve QA processes, metrics, and KPIs to ensure
consistent quality delivery.
Ensure adherence to best practices, compliance standards, and documentation
requirements.
Implement and maintain defect tracking and quality reporting mechanisms.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, UI/UX Designers, and DevOps to
ensure seamless integration of QA practices in the SDLC.
Collaborate on release planning, risk assessment, and production readiness activities. Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters across projects and
clients.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in Software QA with strong expertise in
Manual Testing.
Proficient in QA automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium,
Postman, etc.
Experience in test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Asana etc. Proven team leadership and people management experience. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Experience testing eCommerce platforms, SaaS applications, or enterprise
systems is highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
ISTQB Certification or other relevant QA certifications. Familiarity with performance testing and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter,
OWASP).
