We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Multimedia Test Automation Engineer to lead the validation of critical

multimedia features on our pre-production engineering sample mobile phones. This role is pivotal in our

product development lifecycle, focusing heavily on automated audio quality testing. You will be responsible

for designing, developing, and executing sophisticated automation frameworks to objectively measure and

detect audio anomalies (noise, distortion, artifacts) across various output devices (speaker, wired, and

Bluetooth headsets) in a fully unattended environment. Additionally, you will contribute to the automation of

camera and other multimedia features to ensure a robust and seamless user Responsibilities : Audio Test Automation (Primary Focus)

Design, develop, and maintain a robust, scalable automation framework for comprehensive audio validation on Android-based mobile devices. Develop automated scripts to perform objective noise detection and analysis without human intervention, including measurements for Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), frequency response, and audio artifacts.

Implement and automate test cases for all major audio output paths

• Built-in Speaker (top and bottom)
• Wired Headsets (USB-C and 3.5mm via dongle)
• Bluetooth Headsets (A2DP, HFP, and LE Audio profiles)
• Need to detect different types of noise using different framework which should be robust enough.
• Should have exposure to audio drivers, audio encoding and decoding techniques.
• Integrate audio tests into a CI/CD pipeline for continuous, unattended validation in a Analyze audio test failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate closely with software,

hardware, and driver teams to resolve issues.

Manage and configure audio test equipment, including audio analyzers (e.g., Audio Precision, head

& torso simulators), and signal Camera & Multimedia Test Automation (Secondary Focus)

Develop and automate test scripts for key camera performance metrics, including

Face Detection: Accuracy, speed, and robustness across various lighting conditions.

FPS (Frames Per Second): Stability and performance during video recording and preview.

Preview & Resolution: Validation of preview stream quality, latency, and supported capture resolutions.

Motion Detection: Testing the effectiveness and accuracy of motion-based features.

Contribute to the automation of other multimedia features such as video playback/record, codec compatibility (H.264, HEVC, AV1), and display General Framework & Collaboration
