In this role, you will provide leadership and expertise in the development, integration, and optimization of wireless technologies across a diverse product portfolio. The position requires deep technical knowledge of different wireless systems, experience with a range of wireless protocols and standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of advanced wireless strategies, including RF performance, conformance, regulatory, and design verification, across multiple complex projects. Oversee wireless system activities, ensuring compliance with global standards (e.g., 3GPP, IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth SIG, EMVco) and regional regulatory requirements. Drive pre-certification and official certification processes for wireless products, including test execution, debugging, and coordination with certification bodies. Lead performance evaluation and risk identification for wireless hardware during early development and manufacturing stages. Collaborate closely with hardware, software, regulatory, and certification teams to troubleshoot issues, verify fixes, and ensure product readiness. Mentor and guide engineers and contractors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Represent the wireless engineering function in cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and promoting best practices across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent practical experience 6+ years of relevant experiences in wireless engineering, including RF systems, test development, system validation, wireless certification, regulatory compliance and/or equivalent experience Knowledge of wireless standards and certification processes ((3GPP, IEEE 802.11, BTSIG, EMVco, etc.) Proven leadership in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills
