Job Summary
Plan and direct development, application and maintenance of quality systems and procedures Perform trend/performance analyses and initiates root cause investigations Ensure compliance with program/project quality requirements Develop and implement inspection and test methods, techniques, equipment, and facilities Act as primary company interface with both suppliers and customers for quality related issues Provide direction to inspectors
Required Skills And Qualifications
Experience working in a high reliability / aerospace manufacturing environment Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner Excellent verbal and interactive communications skills with all levels of employees and management Be able to write and review FAI reports in accordance with AS9102 Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for most types of inspection tools Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and mechanical drawings including knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to develop quality standards, procedures, and train personnel in their use Familiarity with industry quality management standards such as AS9100/ISO 9001 and technical standards such as J-STD-001/IPC-610 Knowledge of statistical methods and their application Trained in Lean/Six Sigma tools and processes
Required Experience And Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent) 5-8 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt certification preferred
