Job Summary: SEACORP's Combat Systems Business Area is seeking a Combat Systems Test Engineer. SEACORP's experience in development of submarine combat systems leverages our extensive software and engineering history to deliver a state of the art combat system to the U.S. Navy. A Combat Systems Test Engineer will evaluate requirements, maps requirements to test procedures and executes test procedures and documents results.
Executing test procedures and documenting results. Writing clear and concise problem reports. Identifying temporary workarounds for problems while long term solutions are developed. Understanding risk associated with all problem reports. Providing lab test support and troubleshooting problems. Investigating and analyzing failures to determine root-causes. Working with customer leads to review system designs and provide recommendations for implementation. Attending meetings as applicable and provide necessary verbal communication.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, qualified candidates will have military experience with US Navy Submarine Combat Systems including completion of Naval Advanced "C" School in the technical field of experience.
