Role & seniority: Contract QA/Test Automation Engineer (experience-level implied 4–9 years in testing Java apps)
Stack/tools: Groovy/Geb, Java/HTTP Client; RESTful services; SQL; OO languages (Java, C#, Groovy); Jenkins, Git; CI/CD; AWS preferred
Write and maintain automated tests across unit, component, integration, functional, performance, scenario, and interoperability tests; support reliable, portable test artifacts
Design/develop test automation for front-end apps and web services; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate on improving test coverage, release velocity, and production health; participate in code and test code reviews
Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field
4–9 years of experience testing and automating Java applications, including event-based microservices

Qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
Experience with SQL Programming and Data use SQL queries

Working experience with: Object Oriented Programming Languages (Java, C#, Groovy, etc.); HTTP; RESTful web services; Jenkins; Git
Cloud Application Testing Experience (AWS Preferred)
