Job Title: Senior QA Tester

Location: Hybrid – 849 International Drive, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090

About the Role

• The Senior QA Tester plays a critical role in ensuring software quality, system reliability, and compliance with client and regulatory standards. In this role, you will implement structured testing practices to validate complex IT systems that support DMI’s enterprise operations and digital service initiatives.

Your Impact

As a Senior QA Tester, you will

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts in an Agile environment.
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and database systems.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with development teams to drive resolution.
• Design and maintain automated regression and integration test plans.
• Perform SQL database queries to identify, validate, and manipulate test data.
• Monitor and control key process metrics to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Provide strategic QA insights and contribute to lifecycle QA methodology development.
• Support test automation frameworks and assist in data setup and validation processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning to improve testing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry best practices, and accessibility requirements (Section 508).
• These responsibilities are not meant to be all-inclusive; additional tasks may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Enignering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least eight (8) years of information system quality assurance experience.
• Six (6) years as an analyst/tester supporting requirement analysis, test script development, and test execution.
• Four (4) years of experience mapping business/technical requirements into test cases and general scripts.
• Practical experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing, including UAT, regression, API, performance, and integration testing.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development models.
• Must be eligible for and complete a Fingerprint background investigation.

Standout Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of QA processes, statistical methods, and quality standards.
• Ability to triage change requests and incidents throughout the SDLC.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and platforms.
