Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Test Technician specializing in Pre-Test and Power Testing to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive electrical testing on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assembled electronic components to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities
Conduct pre-test procedures on PCB assemblies using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and ohmmeters to verify dimensions and electrical characteristics. Perform power testing on electronic modules, ensuring proper functionality under specified load conditions. Utilize schematic diagrams and technical documentation to troubleshoot and debug electrical circuits during testing phases. Operate and maintain automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and other test automation equipment to streamline quality control processes. Collect, analyze, and document test data accurately for quality assurance records, identifying any deviations or defects. Perform quality inspections adhering to IPC 610 standards for surface mount technology (SMT) components, solder joints, and overall PCB assembly integrity. Use hand tools such as soldering irons, screwdrivers, and precision tools to assist in assembly or rework as needed during testing procedures. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve test protocols, enhance debugging techniques, and ensure consistent product quality.
Requirements
