QA Systems and Audit Engineer We are seeking an additional QA Systems/Audit Engineer to join their well-established QA team. The QA Systems/Audit Engineer works to ensure that the CHCEC’s Quality Management (QMS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS) are in compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements, that the business operation is in conformance with the QMS & SMS and that the business delivers a safe and airworthy product. What You Will Do Direct and lead external regulatory and customer auditors within the product and support sections. Lead and administer safety inquiries and quality investigations. Research and monitor product reliability, warranty discrepancies, customer quality issue reports, and corrective actions arising from audit findings. Rule/Regulation application and interpretation. Monitor renewals of Regulatory Approvals and Certificates. Amendment of the Exposition and PSP's. Filing and retention of all Quality Records and all work package records for CHCEC and as contracted for customers. Providing and maintaining maintenance recording and information retrieval systems in compliance with Customer, Company and Regulatory requirements. Audit the engine visit maintenance work package report for completeness, accuracy. Monitor and interpret civil aviation regulations, incorporating applicable requirements into CHCEC’s Quality and Safety Management Systems to ensure ongoing compliance Plan and conduct audits of product and support sections, engine certification documents, and external repair vendors Direct and lead external regulatory and customer auditors within the product and support sections. Issue Company Authorisations. Qualifications You Must Have Hold NZCAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or an overseas equivalent or hold or be prepared to gain CAANZ AMEL subject 20, Air Law Written.
