Role & seniority: Hands-on Automation Testing Lead (senior, 2+ years in a lead/mentorship role)
Stack/tools: Playwright-first automation framework; JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python; UI and API automation; API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Insomnia); CI/CD integration; Selenium (alternatives); cloud-based cross-browser testing tools (Nice to have, e.g., LambdaTest)
Design, build, and maintain automation test frameworks; own automation coverage and release readiness
Write/maintain automated tests (functional, regression, end-to-end); run automation to protect releases
Lead and mentor automation engineers; review code; ensure testing standards; collaborate with engineering, product, operations; turn production issues into automated coverage
5+ years hands-on automation testing; 2+ years in Automation Testing Lead roles
Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python)
Strong automation frameworks experience (Playwright preferred) or Java/Python + Selenium
UI and API automation for web apps; API testing tools; CI/CD integration
English fluency (written and spoken)
