Role & seniority: Senior Electrical Test & Debug Engineer (DDR interface) for processor memory sub-system
Stack/tools: DDR5/LPDDR5 memory; memory controller and PHY; hardware tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers); test plan development; Python, Ruby, Perl; Linux validation/development; schematic/layout interpretation
Provide DDR technical leadership in development of new test & validation features
Write and execute electrical/functional test plans for memory validation; debug memory I/O issues
Collaborate with silicon design (DRAM controller/Memory PHY) and contribute to platform definitions for silicon validation
Deep DDR interface knowledge with hands-on debugging of I/O
Experience measuring signals, reading schematics/layouts, and using lab equipment
Strong technical writing and verbal communication
Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Perl; Linux validation experience is a plus
Self-motivated, able to multitask and prioritize
Platform-level electrical/functional test plan development
DDR5/LPDDR5 tests on electronic components (uProcessors)
Scripting/automation development; protocol analyzers
