Role & seniority: Senior/lead electrical test and debug engineer for processor DDR interface enablement and memory sub-system validation.
Stack / tools: DDR5/LPDDR5 memory interfaces; silicon design collaboration (DRAM controller, memory PHY); hardware and software validation tools; oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers; scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl); Linux validation/development experience; lab environment.
Provide DDR technical leadership in development of new test and validation features; define and write comprehensive electrical and functional test plans for memory validation.
Execute bring-up, feature enablement, and debug of memory sub-system issues; work closely with silicon design (DRAM controller and memory PHY) for test execution and feature definition.
Contribute to platform definitions and platform design review used in silicon validation; perform hands-on debugging of electrical/functional issues.
Strong DDR interface expertise; extensive experience debugging I/O interfaces (DDR) and reading schematics/layouts.
Experience with platform-level electrical/functional test plan development and execution.
Hands-on use of test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers) and lab tools.
Familiarity with DDR5/LPDDR5 memory components; good written and oral communication.
Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Ruby, Perl); Linux environment valid
