About the Opportunity

• The Director, Quality Assurance leads the enterprise-wide QA strategy, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization’s software platforms and products. The role ensures delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure software solutions supporting revenue cycle operations. The Director collaborates with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Compliance, and Operations to establish QA best practices and foster a quality-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute QA strategy, roadmap, and organizational structure for scalable software delivery

• Lead and manage QA teams including engineers, automation engineers, and test analysts across multiple products

• Establish standardized QA processes, frameworks, and metrics such as automated, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing

• Partner with engineering leadership to define quality standards and integrate testing early in development

• Oversee automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency, reliability, and CI/CD success

• Collaborate with Product Management to define acceptance criteria aligned with business needs

• Work with Compliance, Data Security, and Operations to support audits, risk mitigation, and defect prevention

• Monitor quality KPIs, identify trends, and provide insights to leadership for product and process improvements

• Optimize QA environments, test data strategies, and tooling for modern engineering needs

• Lead root-cause analysis for defects and system issues, ensuring corrective actions are applied

• Develop and mentor QA team members to promote continuous learning and operational excellence

• Manage vendor relationships and external QA resources as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

• 10+ years in software quality assurance, including 5+ years leading QA teams in enterprise or SaaS environments

• Expertise in QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle, automation strategies, and test management tools

• Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and CI/CD environments

• Proven success with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG)
