Role & seniority: Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Stack/tools: Mobile/web automation (Appium, Playwright, Selenium); API testing (REST, JSON, REST Assured, Postman); databases (SQL, MongoDB); CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI); programming: Java, Python, or JavaScript; test management and defect tracking; Agile/Scrum.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile (iOS & Android) and web; own mobile automation (Appium/Playwright) and ensure broad test coverage.
Lead API testing (REST), validate responses, contracts, and integrations; perform backend data validation via SQL/NoSQL.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines; manage defect lifecycle; collaborate with Backend, Mobile, Product, and DevOps; mentor junior QA engineers.
Hands-on mobile testing for iOS/Android; strong mobile automation experience (Appium, and optionally Playwright or Selenium).
Proficiency in at least one language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
Automation framework design, best practices, and CI/CD integration.

Experience
We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to strengthen our automated testing practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks while ensuring high product quality across web, mobile, and backend systems. This role requires strong hands-on automation expertise, API and database testing skills, and close collaboration with engineering and product teams.
Execute different testing types: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing. Automation & Mobile Testing (Must-Have) Hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS & Android). Strong experience with mobile automation frameworks, especially Appium. Experience automating native, hybrid, and/or mobile web applications. Strong experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright. Advanced understanding of automation concepts, framework design, and best practices.
