Develop system qualification test strategy and create mature test specifications from system-level requirements

Perform systems qualification testing, analyze results, and prepare/communicate results; support customer interface on qualification issues

Lead/participate in peer reviews of integration, qualification strategy, and test specs; maintain defect tracking; support audits and bench/test environment definitions
Must-have skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering

3+ years in systems engineering, validation, or systems software test; proven ability to write test specifications from requirements/designs

Experience executing tests across multiple environments (Vehicle, Dyne, HV Bench, HIL)

Proficiency with Dspace/NI/CAN tools (CANstress, CANoe) and defect tracking processes
Nice-to-haves

Experience with ASPICE processes and achieving ASPICE levels

Audit support experience; familiarity with system integration and test automation interfaces

TITLE: Sr. Systems Test Engineer DUTIES: We seek a Sr. Systems Test Engineer based out of our office at 2151 E Lincoln Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work from the aforementioned address and from home. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned address. Note, this position does not require travel. Responsible for developing system qualification test strategy. Analyze system-level requirements and creating mature, robust test specifications. Responsible to perform Systems qualification testing and prepare results. Support customer interface for any system qualification issues along with System Test Lead. Peer Reviews of System Integration, Qualification Strategy and Test Specifications. Interface and support System Integration Engineers and Test Automation Engineers. Participate in Test Spec Defect Process. Maintain Defect Tracking Process across all the projects. Process adherence across projects against ASPICE Levels. Support any Audits on the Project for all levels of testing. Support Bench definition/configuration required for testing. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering and 36 months of experience in job offered or related systems engineer, validation engineer, or systems software test role. Required experience: Experience in writing test specification on requirements as well as designs; Experience with different types of Test Generation Methodology; Experience in executing tests on different test environments, including Vehicle, Dyne, HV Bench, and HIL; Experience with Dspace/NI/CAN tool (CANstress and CANoe); Experience in Defect Tracking Process tools.
