We’re seeking a proactive and efficient Capacity Analyst Bin Meister to lead Space Optimization efforts in our fulfillment center. These centers are the core of Amazon’s fast-growing operations network, where we manage high-speed
inventory processes: stowing, picking, packing, and shipping products to customers worldwide.
This role thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, where adherence to policies and procedures is critical. As a Capacity Analyst Bin Meister, you’ll be a key leader, ensuring operational excellence, delivering on Amazon’s customer obsession, and optimizing resources to meet evolving demands.
Key job responsibilities
Monitoring FC capacity development (ACMS, New Storage Metrics (S&OP) vs Actual
available Space);
Reporting actual capacity and development to Operations using metric reports
(tabular) and heat maps (e.g., Stow / Pick density, Consolidation, Bay
Utilization);
Escalating concerns and issues to Operations and Capacity;
Reviewing consolidation opportunities, demand, and planning;
Discussing and planning built-out, inventory placement, and bay layout
changes;
Collaborating closely with Inbound, Outbound, and ICQA teams;
Retrieving issues (e.g., Pick path, bay layout, capacity constraints);
Discussing future strategies (e.g., Stow filter, ASIN restriction, ASIN
profiling);
Managing consolidation and replenishment;
Conducting ASIN profiling;
Configuring ASIN profiling related to dock sortation, receive routing, and
location configuration;
Managing Bin Meister.
