Top 3 responsibilities

Design, execute and manage test plans, test scenarios, data guidelines, and traceability matrices for card-related features

Conduct end-to-end testing for Cards (Debit/Credit) and related services; log defects, publish dashboards, and provide test exit reports

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors, deploy bug-fix/CR packs, manage test environments, and support related Banking apps ( Temenos T24, Internet/Mobile Banking)
Must-have skills

Strong BFSI domain testing experience, card lifecycle knowledge, and card/acquiring project exposure

Hands-on with HPS PowerCARD; proficient in SQL/Oracle for testing; UNIX experience

Full Description
Purpose Of The Job
Incorporate quality principles and processes into the creation of IT products, applications, and systems. Develops test plans, prepares test data, and executes functional tests using manual and automated testing techniques to ensure compliance with quality standard and customer requirements
Responsibilities
Understanding the business requirement based on BRD, Interact with project management, development teams for strong understanding of the project and achieve testing objectives Design and execute test scenario, test case, data guidelines, traceability matrix to address business and technical uses cases Execute test cases, prepare pass logs, defect logs, Defect tracker and publishing dashboard along with the test exit report to all stake holders Ensure end to end testing for all Cards (Debit/Credit) related enhancements in HPS PowerCARD Configuring and handling the test ATM /CCDM machines for bug fix/CR/Projects Handling test environments for bug fix/CR and Projects Simulate authorization transactions using switch simulators Coordinating with internal application teams and vendor for smooth functioning of system Deploy the packs for bug fix/CR provided by vendor Support testing for other application like Temenos T24, Internet Banking and Mobile Banking related to Cards functionality Timely escalations of Risks and suggest mitigation plan Prepare training materials and conduct training, workshops and presentations for Team Understand and perform Database refresh in UAT Environments
Typical Experience/Knowledge Required For The Job
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing in BFSI domain Sound knowledge in CARDS life cycle and should have implemented Card systems/ Switch migration/ any major acquiring project Should have acquiring expertise up to settlement and outgoing values in clearing files of Mastercard and VISA. Good hands on experience in HPS PowerCARD (Mandatory) and Temenos T24(optional) Good experience in using Database (SQL/Oracle) for testing related activities Fair knowledge in handling switch simulators (VTS & MAS) Hands on experience in UNIX platform Knowledge of testing tools, like HP Quality Center, BugZilla, JIRA, etc. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated Excellent verbal and written communication skills Technical background and an understanding of the banking or financial services industry Good experience with different Operating Systems Punctual, Regular and consistent attendance BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related degree Knowledge of banking related computer systems and operations.
