Discover more at https://www.connectpositronic.com/en/ Summary Supports the Quality and Engineering teams in reviewing, updating, and standardizing the Global Work Standard (S-001) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with current operational, quality, and regulatory requirements. This internship provides practical experience in process documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a global manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review existing Global Work Standard (S-001) documentation for accuracy and relevance. Update procedures to reflect current processes, equipment, and best practices. Identify and eliminate redundancies or inconsistencies across global sites. Enhance usability by improving document formatting, structure, and language clarity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate process updates and ensure alignment. Ensure revised standards meet internal quality requirements and external regulatory expectations. Develop a controlled framework for maintaining future updates and revisions. Document findings, revisions, and recommendations throughout the project. Support the implementation and communication of the updated standard. Uphold Positronic’s standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence. Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator. Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices. Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience Currently pursuing a degree in Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Physical Regular walking, standing, sitting, climbing, bending, and crouching. May lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Use of hand tools, technical equipment, and standard office technology. Internship Time This internship will take place in 2026 from May 18th to August 7th. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in a production and office environment with exposure to machinery, moderate noise, and standard shop materials. Competencies Knowledge Understanding of quality management systems and documentation control principles. Basic knowledge of manufacturing or engineering processes. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to quality standards. Awareness of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Knowledge of document version control and standardized formatting practices. Skills Strong written and verbal communication for drafting and revising technical documents. Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documentation. Analytical skills to identify process gaps, redundancies, and inconsistencies. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint (or similar platforms). Organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines. Collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional and global teams. Abilities Ability to understand and apply quality and regulatory standards.
