Role: Principal Quality Manager (senior quality engineering leadership)
Quality tools: FMEA, Control Plan (CP), inspection instructions, 8D, Q-data analysis and reporting
Project quality management practices
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (graphs/presentations)
Lead CP creation/maintenance, inspection instruction development, and ensure robust validation of product and process designs
Manage customer complaint handling (containment, CAPA, 8D) and drive problem solving for development projects; lead quality continuous improvement and supplier quality initiatives
Drive quality data analysis, reporting (daily/weekly/monthly), audits, and training for QC/operators on new projects and changes
3+ years quality engineering in mechanical manufacturing, auto/steel valve experience preferred
Proven project quality management experience; strong quality tool proficiency
Proactive multitasking, leadership, problem-solving, and strong written/spoken English
Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; ability to create graphs/presentations
Experience in automotive/mechanical manufacturing or steel/valve sectors
Formal project management or process audit experience

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Engage in new project development as quality expertise. Identify quality risks and work out reaction plan by working together with project team by following FMEA concept. Lead control plan (CP) creation and maintaining. Responsible for inspection instructions creation and maintaining. As quality gate to ensure sufficient validation of product design and process design. Develop quality criteria and testing approach for new projects. Develop quality tools & gauges for measurement and testing. Lead customer complaint handling, define containment action, corrective & preventive actions by providing 8D when requested by customer. Lead problem solving for new projects in development phase. Lead training to QC and operators regarding to new projects and engineering changes in terms of inspection related. Participant in process audit to ensure the sufficient implementation of activities defined. Q-data analyzing and reporting, in daily, weekly, monthly basis. Drive team working on quality continuous improvement and poor-quality cost reduction. Drive suppliers to improve quality assurance ability and the delivery of qualified products. Initiate Positive Change EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: 3+ years of quality engineering experience in the mechanical manufacturing industry/ auto industry, or steeliness steal valve as preferable. Experienced in project quality management. Practical experience in quality tools application. Be proactive and multiple tasks management skills. Good verbal/written English communication, interpersonal skills, leadership skills and problem-solving abilities are required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint including developing graphs and presentations. MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISON: Quality manager *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Periodic lifting of up to 20kg. Alternates between sitting, standing, and moving within the work area. Must be able to manipulate equipment used in performance of tasks. *WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in an office environment with regular exposure to the manufacturing floor.
