Role & seniority: Senior technical leader / quality engineer focused on manufacturing process and product quality improvement.

This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing process and product quality by applying appropriate Goodyear standards and procedures to solve problems. The incumbent is able to lead the application of innovative technical solutions to meet product and process requirements. - You will be acknowledged globally as a content expert, teaching others and developing new approaches to achieve requirements. Network with other technical experts to improve processes and solve problems. - You will utilize and apply understanding of Customer requirements (internal and external) relevant to multiple process areas. Understands the influences to the Customer from various functions. - You will develop and manage relationships with Suppliers and Customers (internal and external) and drive improvements in Customer satisfaction; appropriately representing Goodyear. - You will be accountable to insure compliance to applicable technical requirements across the manufacturing facility related to their field. - You will be accountable to drive product and process improvements within relevant quality guidelines and standards using appropriate quality engineering tools. Drive process improvements regionally and globally, leveraging synergies across the organization. - You will coach and teach Plant Optimization (PO) and use PO methods to drive process improvement. - You will be a technical resource for resolving complex problems requiring the use of higher-level tools. - You will apply expertise to anticipate problems, and develop solutions with appropriate tools and methods that deliver defined objectives to meet business needs. Disseminate techniques to anticipate and mitigate risks. - You will coordinate multiple teams to meet individual and business performance objectives.
